Genome wide association studies for agronomic traits in wheat
Goal of this research was to increase wheat yield while maintaining good quality with limited inputs.
Lead a team of 5 people and collected data for 117 wheat genotypes for 8 different traits. monitored and evaluated at different stages.
We compared those genotypes with Pakistan's best wheat varieties
According to our results 5 different wheat lines performed best under our local conditions in comparison to the pakistan's best varieties
So which means that if we use these varieties in future we can improve the livelihood and health of the poor people
